New hybrid polymer/peptide hydrogels as innovative platforms designed for cell cultures applications

The main expected results of the project strongly rely on identifying the two key components – the polymers with intrinsic capacity of gelling and – LMWGs with potential for supramolecular assembly. The project results, beside highlighting the effectiveness of the biohybrid structures will contribute to: - enhancing of research development innovation (RDI); - performance of the system; developing of RDI system resources by increasing of the research results capacities; expanding of international cooperation by offering for tests new bioactivecompounds and a new hybrid polymer/peptide hydrogel system for multidimensional cultures applications.
The project starts from a concept formulated by technology (TRL 2) and will materialize in the validated technology of the laboratory for new bioactive polymer conjugate system (TRL 4).
