In order to reach Iaşi by plane you can fly directly to Iasi (www.aeroport.ro), or via Bucharest (400 km distance from Iasi). Iasi International Airport is situated at 8 km distance from downtown (Piata Unirii). The bus 50 connects the airport with the main railway station and downtown (Piata Unirii). Also, taxis are available in the airport.
