Results delivered on first stage (2020):

-synthesis of three types of glycopeptide based on leucine, lysine and cysteine by ring-opening polymerization using a chitosan derivative (maleil-chitosan) as initiator.

  • Preparation of functionalized magnetic nanoparticles  and conjugated with with catalytic enzymes (glucose oxidase) and determination of optimal conditions for increased stability in simulated biological environments and enzymatic activity;
  • Obtaining polymersomes loaded with enzyme-conjugated magnetic nanoparticles by nanoprecipitation;

  • Preparation and characterization of magnetic polymersomes based on glycopeptides (MAC-pLeu (maleoyl-chitosan-g-poli(leucine)), MAC-p(Leu-co-CBZ-Lys)1:0.5 (maleoyl-chitosan-g-poli(leucine-co-CBZ-lysine) and MAC-p(Leu-co-CBZ-Lys)1:0.75) and GOx-coated magnetic particles;
  • Studies regarding the therapeutic effect of the glycopeptide-based micro/nanomotors after loading with two anti-tumoral drugs – dacarbazine (DTIC) and vinblastine (VCL) - for melanoma therapy.
