Group Projects:

Multifunctional dynamic hydrogels with tuned morphology for biomedical applications

Project leader: Dr. Luminita MARIN

The project proposes a concept of multifunctional dynamic hydrogel based on the biocompatible chitosan and therapeutic monoaldehydes, employing dynamic combinatorial chemistry principles as obtaining tool. The concept of use monoaldehydes as chitosan crosslinker is new and lays on our few previous studies which proved its feasibility.

Chitosan based hydrogels as luminescent chemosensors for detection and removal of heavy metals

Project leader: Dr. Luminita MARIN

The main objective of the project is to develop luminescent chemosensors with eco-design, for detection and removal of heavy metals. This generic objective will be fulfilled in three steps corresponding to three logically chained scientific objectives, further divided in activities. The dissemination of the obtained results constitutes the forth project objective.

Flexible organic light emitting diodes with white emission for lighting

Director proiect: Dr. Luminita MARIN

The purpose of this project is to obtain a WOLED configuration that offers a competitive potential on the Romanian market and beyond. To achieve this goal, the WOLED configuration is designed according to the latest research in the field and includes original elements designed to improve the performance of commercial WOLEDs. These require combined efforts in the fields of chemistry, physics and engineering to obtain new materials, device concepts and new technological approaches.
