Stage 2018:

Indolo[2,3-c]quinoline and indolo[3,2- d]benzazepine derivatives

Specific aims:
-> Synthesis of frameworks C and D based on reported synthetic procedures
-> Synthesis of modified indolo[2,3-c]quinolines and new indolo[3,2- d]benzazepines containing metal-binding sites
-> Purification and characterization of the obtained compounds

Scientific Report - Stage 1 (2018) – Indolo[2,3-c]quinoline and indolo[3,2-d]benzazepine derivatives containing metal-binding sites

Objective 1.Preparation of indoloquinoline and indolobenzazepine derivatives
Activity 1.1. Synthesis of indolo[2,3-c]quinoline and indolo[3,2-d]benzazepine frameworks based on reported synthetic procedures
Activity 1.2. Synthesis of modified indolo[2,3-c]quinolines and new indolo[3,2-d]benzazepines containing metal-binding sites
Activity 1.3.Purification and characterization of the obtained compounds

  • At least four proligands full characterized - achieved objective

Stage Results:

  • At least four proligands full characterized - achieved objective

In this stage the following activities have been performed:

  • Synthesis, purification and characterization of indolo[2,3-c]quinoline and indolo[3,2-d]benzazepine frameworks;

  • Synthesis, purification and characterization of 8 proligands based on indolo[2,3-c]quinoline and indolo[3,2-d]benzazepine frameworks, different by the halogen atom attached to the framework and by the number and the type of the donor atoms in the structure;

  • The results of the research carried out in this stage of the project have been presented at international scientific events in the form of two (2) oral presentations and three (3) posters and two (2) scientific articles were published in ISI journals with Aknowledgement for this project:
